Webmaster of casajp.com asks members for support.

By Bird, STAFF WRITER

San Diego, Tuesday, March 21--JP, known as "Bird" by the community, has issued a statement requesting that members, visitors and contributors to casajp help him in his quest to rebuild the community-oriented site after it was destroyed in an act of negligence by his ISP, Cox@Home (see previous press release).

"I am looking for all those would-be artists, writers, musicians or humorists out there who consider themselves part of the casajp community, to come forward and show the rest of the world what talents they may (or may not) have," said Bird in a statement issued at yesterday's press conference.  He added, "if you are ambitious and you think you can handle it, you will be given your own column/section, as long as it is creative and interesting."

So far, several contributors have stepped up, offering to write humor columns and to contribute original artwork as well.  C-Nice, the community relations director and editor of the L.A. column added, "any of you LA peeps wanna add some flava to my section, bring it on, bee-atch."  He continued, "if not, feel free to bounce up out this whip anywhere all up along here."

In a comment directed to Guy from England, a frequent visitor to the Peanut Gallery the virtual message board on casajp known as "the 'nut," JP issued the following statement: "Guy. You're our UK connection.  We, here at casajp.com.usa would be honored to host a section featuring the UK perspective. Wherever you are, come forward (or email me) and let me know if you're interested."

JP also commented, "in order to expand our travel journal section for the relaunch, we are asking those of you who are travelling to send me photographs and a quick write-up on your travels.  I will then hook it up with some web design skills."

Bird also emphasized that he would like the community to send emails to Cox@Home in protest of their stupid policy and the negligent action:support@home.net

To reach JP, email him at eljefe@casajp.com

To be added to the mailing list and to be kept up-to-date and notified of the re-launch date, email to oleskoo@yahoo.com
